With 25 years of experience in Psychology and Adult Education, empowerment through education serves as Dr. Simone's driving motto. Dr. Simone is a seasoned digital educator whose passion for learning in the digital spans over 15 years. She is an experienced Associate Professor of Psychology with a demonstrated history of working in the e-learning industry. She is skilled in Organizational Development, Adult Education, Curriculum Development, and Public Speaking. She is a strong education professional with a Ph.D. in Leadership for Higher Education from Capella University, and a master’s degree in Organizational Development from Columbia University.
Her current professional development goal revolves around using her vast knowledge and experience in Psychology to help others to achieve their goals and aspirations. For this reason, in January of 2020 she wrote and published her first book. Push Past 10 is a quick and easy guide which documents how she applied her knowledge of Psychology to achieve a very important life goal of losing (and keeping off) 20 pounds. Since publishing the book other opportunities have followed. This includes becoming the creator, host, and producer of the radio show Untapped Potential (UP!). Through this program, she continues to guide listeners on various topics which are pertinent to goal setting. This includes the importance of writing down their goals, and how to overcome procrastination.
Her goal is to educate others on the power of using Psychology to achieve personal and life goals. She looks forward to continuing this journey as her audience continues to grow.
